The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all Revenue Management Inputs and resulting Outputs within a wide range of Pricing Systems and Tools, with a particular focus on Market positioning. Own Relationship with External Canvass and Data Vendors, Build and develop in house applications and algorithms to increase accuracy, reliability and scope of data whilst reducing cost. Develop Algorithms to target competitor canvassing and Machine Learning to monitor and predict competitor behavior and strategies. Work with Data providers to establish new insights into Competitor Network, Customer Demand, Market Share and Opportunities.

Your Skills: What you’ll need for a great journey

Educational Background:

  • Degree in IT, Maths or a Business related subject is preferable or A finance or mathematical background (degree / masters in Finance or related discipline).

Professional Experience

  • Experience in influencing Stakeholders at varying levels within an organisation

  • Background in Systems, Sales or channel administration.

  • Complex Data and Rules

  • Financially numerate, analytical and comfortable working with numbers are essentials. Exposure to a commercial environment would be a plus.

  • Computer literate with experience in of Advanced MS Excel functions. Experience in working with Visual Basic (VBA) would be a plus.

  • Experience with Tableau, Hyperion Essbase or SQL would be very useful, but the aptitude to develop and learn new applications is key.

  • Role requires a confident influential communication style, ability to gain working knowledge of business and proactively influence the business decision making process.

  • Good time management skills & ability to work to tight deadlines

Knowledge

  • Understanding of RDBMS (Relational Databases) preferable

  • System Admin

  • Attention to detail

  • A methodical mindset – and the ability to research a problem through various stages

  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of IT systems
