General Responsibilities

As a Digital Manager for Specialty Products, you will be responsible for the development and ambitious growth of three core Hertz products: Vans, Premium, and multi-month. Working for the Product and Marketing team, you will champion cross-collaboration between the wider business functions and local markets to plan, develop and execute an improved product offering designed to drive growth and quality of revenue.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for assisting therevenue growth of Vans, Premium and multi-month for destination Corporate Europe

  • Define the customer proposition for each product offering based on customerinsight and market demand

  • Work in collaborationwith pricing and revenue management to ensure competitiveness in relevant markets

  • Assist digital experience team in defining and implementing a new customer-centric digital experience

  • Support digital acquisition teams in driving qualified and profitable online bookings via existing and new channels: PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates etc.

  • Set-up and maintain new processes with local market teams (fleet, ops etc) to drive productand customerexperience improvements

  • Identify market research needed to support marketing strategies and product development

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of customer needs, customer experienceand pain points by analysing internal customer insights and external market trends

  • Help to generate ideas for new products and services and improvement of existing products

  • Plan, develop and execute pilot by managing cross-functional teams and external partner when relevant - do we need to spell this out part of P&D

  • Work with Brand Team to define positioning and communication messages for specialty products

  • Actively keep abreast of market, technology, innovation and competitor activities

  • Provide ongoing analysis of specialty product performance and proposing changes and development if necessary

  • Act as the key point of contact within the business for new/updated product.

  • Provide support to Country Marketing Teams for full roll-out and act as product guardian to ensure coherent communication across all European markets.

  • Compile creative brief to develop collateral and other marketing materials with creative teams or agency.

What you'll need

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent)is preferred

  • You are Customer Focused, but also data-drive and passionate about research

  • 5 years of experience in a marketing or product role

  • Enthusiastic about marketing and product development

  • Self-starter with ability to drive projects with minimum supervision / management

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Customer centric in approaching problems

  • Well organised, with an ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

  • Confident working with multiple internal and external stakeholders

  • Demonstrate a passion for continuous improvement and optimisation

  • Experience of managing suppliers

  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English; you can present findings concisely and effectively

  • Knowledge of product management and integrated marketing

  • Awareness of different cultural needs within International markets

  • Effective communication skills
