The Hertz Corporation Digital Marketing Specialist in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

General Responsibilities

As a digital executive for Inbound / Outbound, you will be responsible for the growth and development of Digital activity into and out of Europe. Working closely with both external agencies and internal digital channel owners (PPC, Display, Affiliates, SEO) you will support the creation and optimisation of cross-border digital campaigns. The role holder will work directly with the International Digital Acquisition Manager, and support the wider Inbound / Outbound teams in delivering profitable direct growth.

What you'll do

  • Support Digital Acquisition Manager in managing all inbound/outbound digital activity, across the various channels and geographies

  • Drive the day-today improvement of digital activity, via the optimisation of PPC campaigns, SEO landing pages and other key digital channels

  • Lead ongoing gap analysis to identify untapped pockets of digital demand, supporting the expansion of global inbound/outbound campaigns

  • Monitor and analyse the competitor landscape for digital inbound/outbound activity identifying benchmark levels for the business and market opportunities

  • Gain a deep understanding of search habits in the International markets, tailoring search strategies to relevant partners: (Google, Yahoo, Baidu, We Chat, MSN

  • Adopt a ‘test and learn’ approach to tailor digital activities and messaging for local audiences

  • Understand top digital corridors from Source Global > Destination Global to support expansion/optimisation decisions

  • Proactively drive actions to anticipate, diagnose and remedy drops in sales/visits/conversion, by monitoring key performance indicators on a daily basis such as sales, visits, conversion and cost of sale

  • Liase with the ecommerce/analytics teams to support implement the tags and tracking required to support inbound/outbound campaigns

  • Present regular KPI reports to relevant stakeholders showing return on investment and growth targets

  • Engage pricing and fleet teams to support spend optimisation descisions

  • Drive the continuous improvement of inbound/outbound reporting in the various analytics suites: Google Analytics, Data Studio, Big Query

  • Support Digital Acquisition Manager in budget allocation decisions across channels and Geographies to drive positive ROI

  • Support channel owners in briefing of inbound/outbound activity

  • Work with wider marketing and brand teams to secure creative assets and copy for use in digital campaigns

  • Meet and exceed the commercial targets as defined by Inbound/Outbound leads

  • Ability to work with large datasets to identify commercial insights

  • Excellent Excel skills and exceptional level of numeracy

  • Ability to translate insight into action to drive growth decisions

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Basic understanding of web analytics tools

  • Demonstrate a desire to learn digital tracking tools and methodologies

  • Basic understanding of key digital channels

  • Self-starter with ability to drive projects with minimum supervision / management
