Director of Revenue Management, Demand Generation - Uxbridge
This is a key managerial layer within the Revenue Management organization. Working closely with the Sales & Marketing functions, Country Revenue Managers & key stakeholders across all levels of the organization, this role is responsible for leading the identification & implementation of targeted promotional programs & products. These programs reinforce corporate pricing & marketing initiatives and/or tactically drive volume to locations/periods. This role primarily focuses on identifying opportunities, assessing revenue & profit impacts, and subsequently coordinating with different departments of the organization to drive results and long term growth.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Govern Revenue Management as ‘gatekeeper’ for all promotional and product requests. Establish, structure & manage the end-to-end process and procedures governing all such activities across the European Corporate Organization, as well as with counterparts in the US and rest of the World.
This management role specifically takes ownership of proactively identifying and communicating revenue and growth opportunities (short and long-term), measurement the impact, securing the required approvals, putting it in place and then professionally communicating the results.
Drive the business forward by actively representing Revenue Management in weekly and monthly stakeholder meetings
Represent Revenue Management amongst the Hertz EMEA Franchise Operations.
Provide analytical & quantitative support by analyzing all available forms of competitive and internal data to identify both competitive threats and opportunities – develop the necessary financial analysis & evaluation of proposals. Build up a model to assess revenue opportunity, dilution risk, ROI & break even points, as well as profit impacts.
Validate & approve promotions based on the above analytics, eventually reject promotion requests for low or negative return, limited fleet capacity or conflict with core pricing strategy.
Provide promotion performance monitoring – ongoing measurement and reporting of marketing products & promotions success.
Work closely with the Pricing systems & Analytics teams to develop & drive pricing improvement through process, system enhancement, retail product portfolio enrichment & market intelligence.
Lead & manage a structured process – ensure coordination of standardized process with defined cadence.
Ensure alignment of all pricing led promotional activity by geography (source & destination), channel (web, phone, GDS, local, CRM), customers (consumer direct, partners, Intermediaries) and brand (Classic, DTAG & firefly). Keep record of all activities to avoid conflicts & missed opportunities at any point in time.
Ensure high yield opportunities are protected by promotional blackouts & necessary off-sells are implemented and clearly communicated.
Educational Background:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or analytical discipline required
MBA or graduate studies in analytics, economics, statistics, or related fields preferred
Professional Experience:
Track record of at least 10 years in pricing, revenue management, data analytics or equivalent required.
Travel, tourism, or hospitality industry experience preferred in an International company (or company dealing with International markets)
Track record in working to tight deadlines, analyzing & amalgamating large, complex streams of data
Process innovation and development; management via KPIs

Knowledge:
Working knowledge of SQL, SAS, Teradata, Python, and Tableau
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (primarily Excel and PowerPoint)
