The Hertz Corporation Finance Analyst in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

General Responsibilities

Have you recently graduated ? We are looking for enthusiastic finance graduates to come and work in our European HQ in Uxbridge for the position of :

Finance Analyst

Our European Head Quarters based in Uxbridge (near Heathrow Airport) employs approximately 350 people with over 23 different nationalities.

As a financial analyst your role will be to provide financial and operational analysis, data interpretation, planning and business reporting to managers of the business.

Major Accountabilities

  • Reporting

  • Preparation of regular reports and analysis (e.g. Monthly Operating Review, Corporate Board meetings, Business Planning, Monthly Forecasts etc)

  • Ad hoc reports

  • Analysis and interpretation of data

  • Revenue Analyses (inc Revenue Management, RPD, segmentation)

  • Accounts contribution (developing contribution model)

  • Preparation of a range of presentations

  • Support of other members of the FPA team (multi skills but specialise in particular area)

  • Network analysis

  • Opportunity Identification

  • Ad hoc Analysis

  • Support of COEs and senior management team

  • Liaison with country partners and shared services finance teams

Educational Background:

  • Degree Educated

Professional Experience:

  • Broad financial experience (Accountancy qualification ideal but not essential)

  • Highly systems literate. Knowledge of Hyperion is advantageous but not essential.

  • Working in a paced, detail orientated environment.

Knowledge:

  • The key components of commercial and operational activities in a service industry

Skills:

  • Excel skills to the max (speed, accuracy and innovation)

  • Adaptability to ambiguous tasks and challenges

  • Communicates effectively in all media.

  • Flexibility and ability to work to deadlines.

  • Good attention to detail.

  • Good team player.
