The Hertz Corporation National Sales Manager - Vans in Uxbridge, United Kingdom
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Acquisition of new customers of commercial vehicle rental, in line with business plan targets across the territory.
Ensure long term relationships are built and maintained at all levels across customer base within the van supersite structure.
Develop sales action plans at key Van Supersites of Hertz
Maintain and develop prospect pipeline reports on fleet customers within the region
Work in partnership with the Regional Sales Managers and Business Development managers.
Negotiation of new and existing contract
Provide clear Service Level Agreements, contractual terms and handover documentation for operations, collections and FNOL.
Deliverables / Responsibilities:
Revenue growth in line with current strategy/BP
Identify and develop business opportunities including product development, marketing initiatives, fleet solutions and operational structure and support.
Monitor and feedback of competitor activity.
To be responsible for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of sales plans for the commercial vehicles in the UK.
To identify and develop new commercial vehicle business opportunities within the agreed territory
To support the Hertz operational Van Supersite network in the development of local commercial vehicle business.
Develop successful working partnership with car rental sales counterpart and branches within region.
Ideally with a minimum of 2 years prior similar sales experience including account management.
Preferably to degree level or ‘A’ Level or similar
Good understanding of business practice
Energetic and self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge and understanding of the Van sector and operators of fleet customers.
