The Hertz Corporation Payroll Assistant in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

General Responsibilities

Our European Head Quarters based in Uxbridge (near Heathrow Airport) employs approximately 350 people with over 23 different nationalities and we’re currently looking for an Payroll Administrator to join the Payroll team of 4.

The Role: Taking the wheel at Hertz

To support in the successful delivery and execution of a large multi-sited payroll. Ensuring that all employees receive a service focused provision and salaries, taxes etc. are paid accurately in accordance with contractual, procedural and legislative requirements.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process all data onto the payroll system to ensure salary adjustments are reflected.

  • Ensure sick days and holidays are tracked.

  • Ensure compliance with company policy on all elements of payroll and take appropriate action when required.

  • Ensure all payroll activity adheres to audit requirements.

  • Raise month end payments as required.

  • Issue pension forms as required.

  • Support the T&A system in relation to all payroll activity.

  • Manage any payroll queries via calls and emails from both internal and external customers

  • Administrative tasks including the daily filing to ensure efficient and assessable filling and Administration systems are maintained.

  • Work closely with HR shared services in Dublin, and the HR team based in Uxbridge and any other Hertz departments as required.

  • Ad hoc duties as assigned by Payroll Manager\Supervisor

Your skills: What you’ll need for a great journey

  • Previous experience in P11D and form 42

  • Knowledge of a Time and Attendance system an advantage

  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office

  • Excellent written and oral communication - ability to deal with people at all levels

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Ability to prioritise workflow
