The Hertz Corporation Regional Account Manager in Uxbridge, United Kingdom

General Responsibilities

Hertz is now recruiting for a Regional Account Manage r to cover the London & South East area. This is a full time permanent position. This role will comprise of managing existing accounts whilst growing them to full capacity

What is this role all about?

Location: Candidates must be based out of the London/South East area to be considered

Reporting to the Head of Account Management.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of corporate accounts across London & South East England.

You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of service and level of customer care that is provided to all corporate customers across the region as well as working closely with other members of the UK and European sales teams to build profitable business.

Identifying and winning new business is a key part of the role.

You will be also be responsible for meeting volume and contribution targets in line with the company objectives.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Revenue Growth in line with BP targets

  • Incremental Revenue Development Initiatives

  • Management of the Cost of Sale

  • Effective Management of the Portfolio Receivable Position

  • Maximise growth from within existing portfolio

  • Exploiting new Market Opportunities

  • Salesforce adoption

  • Salesforce input (previous experience essential)

  • Account Management – Domestic and European

  • Domestic Account Responsibility (UK Negotiated)

  • European Account Responsibility (Negotiated outside the UK)

  • Account Administration/Record Keeping

  • Preparation of Complex high value proposals

  • Negotiation of New and Existing Contracts

  • Monitor Profitability of Portfolio on ongoing basis in line with agreed parameters

  • Ensure Long Term Relationships are Maintained

  • Implementation of new/existing contracts

What do we need from you?

  • Preferably to degree level

  • Ideally with a minimum of 2 years prior sales experience including account management.

  • General Responsibilities:Responsible for the total management of a portfolio of contracted accounts focusing on corporate sector business. Ensuring they receive total quality from the services that Hertz provide. Meet volume and contribution targets in line with company objectives

  • Revenue growth to meet business plan targets

  • Seek and exploit new opportunities within existing contracts

  • Effective management of the portfolio receivable position

  • Produce and action strategic business plans for the accounts

  • Improve efficiency of account processes to provide savings and innovation to customer and Hertz

  • Salesforce management

  • Account Administration/Record Keeping

  • Performance Reporting

  • Contract Implementation and communication

  • Relationship development across customers & prospects

  • Preparation and presentation of complex, high value proposals, for all UK based companies, whether Domestic or Pan European.

  • Report KPI and Performance Targets both to the customer base and to internal stakeholders

  • Monitor competitor activity , with recommendations for appropriate action

  • Introduction of new product/promotions and services to existing customer base

  • Meet with contract decision-makers and influencers to review agreement and take necessary actions to increase profitable business.
