Senior Director, Franchise Operations and Business Strategy- reporting to Vice President, Franchise International
The role: Your journey at Hertz
Lead, drive and execute Global Value Add programs and initiatives that deliver incremental value to Franchisees through Value Proposition, Value Added Services.
Significantly increase revenues for Franchisees and royalty fees to the Corporation.
Act as the lead contact point and relationship leader to all COE’s impacting EMEA Franchisees.
Support and assist in the delivery of the franchise EMEA business plan.
Lead the development of other core value add deliverables such as Hertz Academy, Franchisee Training Program
Collaborate closely with Franchise Portfolio Managers.
Achieve Franchise fee income in line with business expectations for all franchisees as well as beating annual EBITDA targets.
Work closely with Global Procurement to develop a supplier strategy to share Hertz negotiated deals with franchisees globally to increase value and drive incremental revenue.
Act as the senior relationship leader to aggressively develop and execute strategic revenue growth initiatives through increased integration with COE’s globally, including Commercial Sales, GSA’s, Marketing.
Develop trusted and effective working relationships with all Hertz, Multibrand franchisees and uphold all corporate brand values.
Build good relationships with ILT members and all COE leadership to ensure that the Franchise team and franchisees are well integrated and set up for inclusion in all relevant value add programs and products.
Build lasting profitable relationships with franchise owners and C level management teams and attend franchisee events.
Design and deliver ongoing regional and global franchise strategy to ensure growth targets are achieved and exceeded.
Develop, own and build a sustainably profitable global franchise marketspace in order to proactively serve up our ever growing suite of Value Add products and Services

Your skills: Stand out from the fleet
- University degree/masters level education
Car rental operational experience preferred
Should possess project/programme management experience
Strong awareness of and engagement with technology driven solutions and business efficiency initiatives (Six Sigma Green Belt, NPS, Lean, Hoshin etc.)
Cultural sensitivity and awareness of behavioural effectiveness in a multi-national environment
Demonstrable experience in large scale negotiations and multi-level relationship management
Sales and/or Marketing experience
Understanding of and interest in global politics, macro-economies, social structures
Sound financial and commercial acumen
Strong ability to construct and effectively communicate simple, compelling and sustainable partner propositions.
Understanding of the key regions within the area of responsibility and their economic and commercial drivers
Knowledge of the global Hertz network preferred but not critical
Powerful persuasion and influencing skills
Logical thinker that designs and follows efficient workflows & processes
